Carrot Crop

When I planted my kitchen garden I included carrots thinking it would be good timing for Lincoln eating some solids and getting organic carrots.

Lincoln isn't very interested in solid foods yet, just a few bites here and there. When we harvest a carrot he finds the leafy tops much more interesting but he has rarely tried to put food items in his mouth intentionally.

After I tried the carrot it seemed much more interesting to him. . . just to chew a bit and get some flavor.

He can be quite hesitant and careful about what he tastes.

In the end he really did seem to enjoy the flavor of a fresh organic carrot from the garden.
