Lake Superior and the North Shore of Minnesota are breathtaking. This is only my second trip there and I found some familiar spots and some new favorites. The maple trees inland were in glorious color. September is a great time to be there. I would love to go back to the North Shore again anytime!
We spent time in Duluth before and after we went to the North Shore. I do like Duluth; the waterfront, the ship traffic, the bridges and the food at Grandmas! Since we spent two nights, we got to eat at Grandma's twice. I am sure there other good places but since I get to Duluth so seldom, Grandma's got my vote. Below is the
