Saturday afternoon area fire fighters came together for a friendly competition. Dale and I have enjoyed this kind of event in the small town of Adel and decided to drive downtown to check out the Des Moines version. The game was similar, but the setting was quite different. Two teams of firefighters face each other with hoses pointed to an empty keg hanging from a high wire.
It's a fast pace competition with the force of the water pushing the keg quickly toward the opponent. There was a live band on Saturday and a nearby festival. It was a fun place to play with the cameras and enjoy the enthusiasm of the participants. We didn't stay long but I am glad that we took the time to check it out.
