It was my first time in Memphis, Dale's first time in Memphis and a wonderful 70 degree evening. We had a short list. I wanted to look at Graceland, home of Elvis, but not go in and take the tour. I also wanted to explore Beale Street, listen to the music and eat Memphis BBQ. Dale was in agreement so that's exactly what we did. It's so great how we can agree about our travels! He had also heard about tamales in Memphis so we ordered those too when we ate at Blues City Cafe. All the food was wonderful! The evening was beautiful and it was fun to explore a new city, even briefly.
